The Early Years and Inclusion Division of the Ministry of Children and Family Development includes responsibility for the Childcare BC plan – a stated government priority with a Budget 2018 commitment of $1 billion over the first three years of a ten year to realize universal childcare in BC. The successful realization of the 10-year universal child care plan requires active communications and engagement with diverse stakeholders, including child care providers, advocates, local governments and the parents looking for, or involved in, the many government initiatives already announced to provide more accessible, affordable and quality child care in the province.
Reporting to the Director, Stakeholder Engagement, the manager provides strategic direction for the development, maintenance and performance management of the ChildcareBC website, including delivery and improvements of new digital projects.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Undergraduate and two years of experience in each relevant area. Relevant areas include:
- Developing and maintaining digital products and services for the web, including troubleshooting system issues and implementing large-scale improvements.
- Independently managing several complex projects that have multiple project delivery components.
- Minimum 1 year experience in converting written information to graphic display.
- Preference may be given to candidates with an undergraduate or higher degree in communications, public relations, business administration, computer science, User Experience Design public administration.
