Supporting the Ministries of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and Social Development and Poverty Reduction (SDPR), the Information Services Division (ISD) provides corporate centralized information management and information technology (IM/IT) resource planning, decision making, project and issues management, security and privacy functions and desktop support. The division manages the Social Sectors $60 million dollar annual IM/IT operating budget, the Social Sectors capital IM/IT portfolio totalling approximately $200 million as well as funding for IM/IT projects that are completed outside of ISD’s annual budget.

The Senior Manager, Finance leads a team which oversees financial management for the Information Services Division.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent. OR a combination of equivalent education, training and work experience may be considered.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Five (5) years of advanced financial experience in areas of budgeting systems, financial management policies and procedures, financial reporting/analysis and/or policy analysis including interpreting and applying policy.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Preference may be given to candidates with:

  • Experience in capital budget management and amortization forecasting and monitoring.
