The Road Safety Initiative (RSI) is a multi-phase, multi-million dollar major business transformation initiative focused on implementing electronic violation ticketing throughout the province; instituting a Business Intelligence system to analyses road safety trends and patterns; develop a model that that will guide ‘moving violations’ sanctions and penalties by aligning them to a new risk framework; and reduce the pressures ticket disputes create on the court system in B.C. This project has required changes to legislation, policy and operational business delivery for RoadSafetyBC and its road safety partners.

You will provide project management support services throughout the project management life-cycle (i.e. initiation, planning, execution, control and close-out) in consultation with project managers and client managers.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in office environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Creating presentations using PowerPoint, managing calendars in outlook, and working knowledge of Excel)
  • Experience writing reports, creating presentations and providing project management support services.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with coursework in project management.
