The Community Corrections and Corporate Programs Division provides programs and services to adult offenders or alleged adult offenders who have been diverted from the court system, who are awaiting trial or sentencing, who are serving community based sentences or who have been conditionally released from custody. These programs enhance public safety by assessing and managing the risk of the offender, providing 24 hour monitoring services and providing interventions to change behaviours. The division supervises accused persons on bail and offenders on alternative measures, probation, 810s (Court Orders that specify terms of release), Conditional Sentences and Conditional Releases; notifies victims and communities of potential risks and ensures the views of victims are considered in reports for the court.

The division operates a network of community offices to provide supervision, reports, disposition options and case management to all provincial offenders under Judicial supervision in the community. A regional office directs and coordinates the activities of 7 to 14 local offices in each of the division’s 5 regions. There are approximately 20,500 offenders under supervision per day in communities across the province.

The Regional Office Manager assists the Regional Director, Local Managers, Local Office Managers, local administrative staff and regional office staff through the provision of administrative, human resources and financial services.

The position performs payroll and leave management functions, processes financial transactions for the region and develops and implements administration systems for the regional office.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Secondary School Graduation or equivalent (GED)
  • One (1) or more years of related experience (ex. Clerical, secretarial, receptionist, or administrative support).

Preference may be given to candidates with:

  • related post-secondary education and or training (ex. certificate, diploma or higher in administration).
  • experience utilizing PeopleSoft and/or Time and Leave Management (TLAM)
  • additional years of related experience
