The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy is responsible for the effective protection, management and conservation of B.C.’s water, land, air and living resources.
This position provides a full range of secretarial and administrative support services to the Deputy Minister’s Office (DMO). The ideal applicant would have the ability to work in a consistently fast paced environment under tight timelines and deliverables. As the position is responsible for regularly communicating with the public and Ministry staff as well as reviewing and proof reading materials, attention to detail and communication skills are key. Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Completion of Grade 12, plus a minimum of three years related experience
Related experience may include any of the following:
Experience and/or training to include Microsoft Office computer applications and electronic tracking systems
Experience/training in word processing, spreadsheet and other standard computer applications.
Experience with processing accounts and financial policies and procedures.
Preference may be given to applicants who have experience with the CLIFF Correspondence System and/or the eApproval system
