About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director to join our team in Rosedale, BC on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to join Cheam First Nation at the beginning of a new era in business development and community services.
In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline combined with a minimum of 5 years of previous experience with project and program management, including the development of annual strategic plans, work plans, budgets, and managing financial and personnel functions.
Previous experience working in a First Nations or inter-cultural environment is a definite asset. Please note some travel throughout the Fraser Valley with occasional overnight travel will be required.
As a skilled communicator, you can interact with a range of internal and external partners, and have excellent listening skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload are essential, as is the ability to self-manage and manage others.
Above all, you must be a self-motivated professional who has the ability to mentor and continue to drive Cheam First Nation’s momentum forward.
