The positions are considered mobile positions as the work will be performed across multiple ministry offices in the Metro Vancouver Regional District over the two-year period.

Reporting to the Service Lead, OCIO Unified Communications (UC), the successful candidates will be assigned to the OCIO UC Deployment Project. The scope of the project is to implement UC for the Province of BC Ministries. The role will provide technical support in the configuration, installation and maintenance of UC software/hardware platforms, including providing 1st and 2nd Tier problem resolution to ministry users.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, testing, implementing software and hardware solutions with a minimum of 1 year of experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience using Lync/Skype for Business.
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience in Microsoft Windows 7 and or Windows 10 Operating Systems.
- Demonstrated experience providing technology troubleshooting and assistance to end users
Successful applicant must be willing to travel and work over-time.
