The User Experience Design: Technical Analyst will support and develop the Ministry of Education’s web presence by working with program areas to ensures ministry’s websites deliver the best possible service to citizens and aligns with user experience (UX) design processes and corporate content and design standards.

Job Requirements: 

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree in web design or computer science plus a minimum 2 years’ experience with designing web site mock-ups and prototypes. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience maintaining websites that use content management systems.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience developing and maintaining web sites with, HTML5, PHP, CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax.
  • Experience planning, organizing and facilitating user experience design sessions.

Preferences:

  • Preference may be given to applicants who have a minimum 2 years’ experience in maintaining websites that use the Drupal content management system.
  • Preference may be given to applicants who have experience in content strategy and writing for the web.
  • Preference may be given to applicants who have experience with the creation and design of forms for online platforms.
