The Justice Services Branch is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational support for the Attorney General and Public Safety Sector’s service transformation, including the provision of services to support sector program areas and stakeholders.  The Project Delivery Division provides strategic leadership, project management coordination, and expertise through the management of business transformation projects and provides project management best practices support to all other Divisions.

This position will provide technology planning, business analysis, systems design and client support services. Provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium sized projects from initiation to completion.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • University degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent; and a minimum of two years’ recent, related experience*; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. relevant training and a minimum of six years of recent, related experience*).

*Recent, related experience must include:

  • Experience providing business analysis on high risk projects;
  • Experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes;
  • Experience with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and design;
  • Experience ensuring the completion of technical reviews, quality assurance checks and post-implementation reviews; and
  • Experience monitoring the work of vendors and monitoring the performance of contracted information technology services.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

  • Formal AGILE training.
  • Web application implementation experience.
