Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Financial Services branch is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic senior leader for the regular full-time position of Director, Financial Services.
Reporting to the Executive Financial Officer (EFO), the Director, Financial Services (Director) is responsible for leading the Financial Services branch, and delivering effective financial services and strategic advice for the Legislative Assembly. The Director has a staff of approximately twelve employees including professionally designated accountants, financial operations staff, and policy and project specialists.

Applicants must have a professional accounting designation (CPA) with at least 10 years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, risk management and financial administration experience, preferably in the public sector.
