Deni House provides excellent residential care in a home-like environment overlooking the City of Williams Lake in the heart of the Cariboo. We are located adjacent to Cariboo Memorial Hospital.

The name “Deni House” was chosen for its significance to the Cariboo. Deni is the Chilcotin word meaning “People” or “All the People.” The word “House” was chosen due to historical significance from the days of the Cariboo Gold Rush and the way stations along the gold rush trail used as places of refuge and rest for weary people. Deni House means “A House for Our People.” Deni House is home to 19 permanent residents and includes 9 short-stay beds offering respite, convalescent and palliative care.
