Compensation:

$26.95/hour for 30-40 hours a week (Overtime applicable after 40 hours)

Job Description

• Recommend and arrange for additional services needed for the maintenance of hotel building such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Inspect inside and outside hotel premises to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Hire and train cleaning and maintenance staff
• Assist cleaners in performing their job duties as and if needed
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
• Prepare budget for the expenses to be made on the repair, replacement or renovation work
• Notify managers of any damages and deficits
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School completion
• At least 1-year previous experience of working as a cleaner or building maintenance worker is required

Additional skills

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer oriented and friendly
