SSGS Construction Ltd. located at 6142 131A Street, Surrey, BC, V3X 1P8 needs 2 full- time, and permanent Carpenters to join their team as soon as possible.

Job Duties:

• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes.
• Read and translate blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Maintain and renovate residences wooden structures.
• Construct foundations, put in floor beams, lay subflooring and elevate walls.

Job Requirement:
• Completion of secondary school,
• 2-3 years of experience in construction industry.

Terms of Employment:
Full Time, Permanent

Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.
Wages: $29.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
