Landscaper

J Dhaliwal Gardening & Landscaping Ltd. located at 6168 126 Street, Surrey, BC, V3X 1V6 is presently looking for 06 Landscapers to join their team immediately. This is a full-time permanent position. Wage rate is $28 per hour for 40 hours per week. Basic English, high school education and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates will be working at various locations as per company’s contracts.

Job Duties:

• Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes.
• Landscape by planting flowers, plants and grass.
• Install rock gardens, ponds, decks, drainage systems, fences, planters and playgrounds.
• Trim and prune hedges, tress and shrubs.
• Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
• Assess the health of lawns.
• Fertilize and water lawns and gardens.
• Perform other duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, ability to distinguish between colours, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, large workload
