Load Care Express Inc. is looking to hire a Long-Haul Truck Driver to transport goods on provincial and international routes. The Long-Haul Truck Drivers should be able to achieve a class 1 license and be able to plan travel schedules & routes.

Wages: $27.25/hour (will be paid semi monthly)

Job Type – Full-time/ Permanent

Working hours: 40-50/week

Language – English

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Plan travel schedule and routes.
• Loading and unloading of goods ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspections of vehicle system, tires, lights and brakes.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatcher.
• Drive as single or team.
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical inspection pre and post trip.
• Maintain Logbook of distance travelled hours and fuel consumption along the trip.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.

Requirements:

• High School
• Class 1 License
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Experience is an asset
