Job Description:

·        Assemble wood products such as boxes, pallets, skids and crates

·        Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards

·        Trim and sand joints, moulding, or other wooden parts to be assembled using hand and power tools

·        Make minor adjustments and repairs

·        Build pallets

Requirements:

-Education: Some secondary school education is required

-Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

-Nail gun experience is a strong asset

-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks

-Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Organized, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player

-Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy

-Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

-Language: Basic English level is required

Salary: $18.00 to 19.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Extended Medical Insurance. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important Information: Working schedule is from 7am to 3pm from Monday to Friday. The employees will work in shifts of 8 hours per day. Weekend and overtime work may be required based on the business’ needs.
