Geoscience BC President and CEO’s Year-End Message

Hello friends and members. Merry Christmas 2025 and Happy New Year to you and yours!

While we currently have no active projects, Geoscience BC continues to build potential funding partners on high-value research projects that attract significant return on investment and create economic development. Geoscience BC has taken necessary and prudent steps to ensure our financial viability this year. For example, we plan to sublet our physical office and go fully virtual in 2026. We also plan more webinars in the new year to highlight the range and quality of the hundreds of critical minerals, energy and water research projects completed since 2005.

Thank you to all Geoscience BC members, volunteers, advisors, partners and friends. Your continued support allows Geoscience BC to remain a trusted source of third-party data that creates new opportunities and benefits for the people of BC. Let us continue collaborating on projects and delivering independent public earth science research that makes a real impact!
