Healthy Aboriginal Network
Summer. What a lovely word. I’m thinking of changing my name. In the meantime:
Family violence booklet and video
We created a story on family violence for the Legal Services Society (Legal Aid BC). LSS wanted the resource to be as accessible as possible, across all platforms and available for free. We did our best. You can read the 16 page booklet, watch the video and access resources on their website at www.aboriginal.legalaid.bc.ca. Smartphone as well. You can even order a hard copy of the book from Crown Publications (see above website). We’re proud of the work.
Custom created resources
If your organization is looking to create a connection with youth and you’ve got a budget for illustration, animation or video, please consider us. All of our draft work is focus group tested to ensure maximum uptake with youth and professionals. I can be reached at sean@thehealthyaboriginal.net if you want to discuss your ideas.
We hope you continue to find us relevant to youth’s needs,
Sean Muir
Executive Director
