ITBC 2022 Stakeholder Membership Application – Old Friends and New Friends
February 2, 2022
BECOME AN ITBC STAKEHOLDER
Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) is a non-profit, Stakeholder-based organization dedicated to developing a sustainable, culturally rich, Indigenous tourism industry in British Columbia. The ITBC team supports all of our respected Stakeholders in experience development, training, funding access, networking opportunities, marketing programs, and current industry research.
ITBC is looking to connect with our Tillicum, our friends, as we launch applications for 2022 Stakeholder Membership. We invite Indigenous communities, emerging and existing Indigenous tourism businesses, Indigenous culture keepers and service providers, and supporters of Indigenous success in the tourism industry to become our Tillicum.
OLD FRIENDS NEED NOT APPLY
We honour our relationships with new and longstanding Stakeholders. Current ITBC Stakeholders do not need to reapply–your membership will be automatically renewed for 2022. As in previous years, your ITBC Stakeholder membership also includes basic membership with Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada. Thank you for working with us and sharing your knowledge, cultures, and lands with local adventurers and visitors to BC. We are here to support your current operation and are always happy to hear from you! Let us know if your business has experienced any significant changes this year.
MAKE NEW FRIENDS
We welcome new Indigenous individuals, businesses, and communities interested in Indigenous tourism opportunities to become an ITBC Stakeholder and gain access to community, resources, and support. There is a place for everyone in the ITBC family: Culture Keepers, service providers, friends of ITBC, communities, and visitor- and market-ready Indigenous-owned tourism businesses.
Interested in becoming a Stakeholder and finding your place in the ITBC family? Do you know any Indigenous businesses that would be great candidates for ITBC Stakeholder membership? We invite current and prospective members to spread the word and invite other Indigenous tourism operators in BC to become Stakeholders with ITBC. ITBC continues to waive membership fees as we prepare for 2022 travel in #IndigenousBC. Your ITBC Stakeholder membership also includes basic membership with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada.
If you have any questions or would like one-on-one support to complete the process, contact Samantha Rullin, Indigenous Tourism BC Stakeholder & Marketing Coordinator at Samantha@IndigenousBC.com
