Beginning the year with almost 60% of the project completed
As construction begins to ramp-up after the holiday break, we look forward to progressing to the final stages of construction by the end of 2022. This year, we start construction with almost 60% of the project completed, with Sections 1 and 4 nearing 100% completion. Most recently, we celebrated the safe completion of the Salmon River DPI water crossing with zero safety incidents. In the same construction section, we also saw the demobilization of the Vanderhoof Lodge, which at its peak housed over 869 workers. On the west side of the project in Section 8 East, clearing of the project route has been completed as we move closer to completing clearing across the project.
