Lillooet RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a woman who has been missing for more than three decades.

On August 23, 1982, a young, vibrant First Nations woman attended the Lillooet District Hospital for a broken finger. Although there have been unconfirmed sightings since then, that was the last time Roxanne Elaine FLEMING was confirmed to have been seen. Unfortunately, it seems that years went by before Roxanne was reported missing to police and time has faded many memories of Roxanne. Since her disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however Roxanne remains missing.
