Missing Person to locate: Roxanne Elaine Fleming
Lillooet RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a woman who has been missing for more than three decades.
On August 23, 1982, a young, vibrant First Nations woman attended the Lillooet District Hospital for a broken finger. Although there have been unconfirmed sightings since then, that was the last time Roxanne Elaine FLEMING was confirmed to have been seen. Unfortunately, it seems that years went by before Roxanne was reported missing to police and time has faded many memories of Roxanne. Since her disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however Roxanne remains missing.
Roxanne was 18 at the time of her disappearance and would now be 50 years old.
Description of Roxanne FLEMING:
- First Nations female
- 18 years at the time of her disappearance;
- 5 ft 4 in (163 cm)
- slender build
- brown hair
- brown eyes
Investigators are actively seeking to establish a detailed time line and are looking to speak with persons who may have knowledge of Roxanne’s activities in Lillooet in 1982 or insight into her disappearance.
