Public Notice to Members: 2024 Call for Board Nominations

The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) issues this Call for Nominations to member organizations wishing to represent their province or territory on ITAC’s Board of Directors (the “Board”). This notice is to provide information on how to nominate a Director (board member) for election at the upcoming ITAC Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held October 7, 2024 at Rodd Charlottetown, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island at 10:00 am (ADT).
The ITAC Board is composed of thirteen (13) Directors; one from each of the ten (10) provinces and one from each of the three (3) territories, each serving four (4) year terms.
The following provinces and territories are open for nominations:
- British Columbia
- Northwest Territories
- Nunavut
- Ontario
- Prince Edward Island
- Quebec
Please note that Directors will be elected by eligible Voting Members only within their respective territory or province (ITAC Bylaws 13.6).
The deadline for nominating a Director to serve on the ITAC Board is Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 5 PM PST.
