SD57 beginning decolonization work to improve Indigenous involvement – My Prince George Now

chool District 57 will be reviewing structures and practices related to Truth and Reconciliation.

During last night’s (Tuesday) meeting, Trustees were given a presentation from the office of the Superintendent that also included equity of access, learning, and wellness.

Superintendent Jameel Aziz says long term work will be done for Indigenous Involvement.

“We have these board meetings in a board room with Robert’s Rules of Order, and some very limited structures in the way that people can participate.”
