Two Persons in Custody and Charged in the Disappearance of Woman

On January 6th, 2015, Penticton RCMP were advised by a family member that 26 year old Roxanne LOUIE had not been seen or heard from since Sunday, January 4th, 2015 at 1:00 A.M. Louie had been in the area visiting friends and family over the Holiday season and was scheduled to fly back to her home in Vancouver on January 4th at 9:45 A.M., but failed to show for that flight.
Penticton RCMP General Investigation Service and South East District RCMP Major Crime Unit have been following up on leads and conducting interviews in regards to Louie’s disappearance over the past week.
On January 12, 2015, as a result of the RCMP ongoing investigation, Grace Elinor Robotti, 65 years of age of Penticton has been charged with second degree murder of Roxanne Louie, Sec 235 CCC, and her brother, Pier Louis Robotti, 61 years of age of Penticton has been charged with being an Accessory After the Fact, Sec 240 CCC and also charged with Indignity to a Body Sec 182(b) CCC. The body of Roxanne Louie has been recovered.
Both have been remanded into custody for a future court appearance. RCMP investigation into the incident continues.
