Job Requirements

• Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school
• Experience: 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience
• Personal Suitability: Team player, Flexibility
• Language of work: English
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
• Estimate food requirements and costs
• Maintain inventory and records of ingredients, supplies and equipment
• Order ingredients, supplies and equipment as needed
• Train and supervise other staff and helpers in the kitchen
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
