Far East Bistro is a Japanese-Asian fusion food truck in Revelstoke, B.C. We strive to be a great and fun place to work while providing the absolute best customer service experiences around. Currently, we are looking for a cook who can join our energetic and growing business.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of food, such as chopping vegetables, preparing meats, making marinates and sauces.
• Prepare dishes including rice bowls, kara-age, and spring rolls.
• Clean the food truck and dispose of garbage
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Store unused food items in the fridge or freezer
• Stack and store food supplies, equipment or utensils

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the kitchen
• Ability to produce assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to work a flexible work schedule

Terms : Permanent

Hours : Full-time (30~40 hours per week)

Salary : $16 – $18 depending on experience
