1456056 BC Ltd. dba Mary Browns Restaurant is looking to hire 1 Pastry Chef to join our staff as quickly as possible!

As a Pastry Chef, you would have to perform the following duties:

• Prepare and cook meals and specialty food
• Create decorative food display
• Supervise activities of chefs, cooks and kitchen workers
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques
• Demonstrate new equipment to cooking staff
• Plan menus and requisition of food and kitchen supplies

Requirements for the position:

• Completed high school
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in commercial food preparation OR cook’s trade certification or equivalent credentials, training and experience are required

Job Terms:

• Wage – $34.80 per hour
• Hours – 40 hours per week; Full time, permanent position
• Location – #105 & 106, 50 Tenth Street, Nanaimo, BC V9R 6L1
